Overview

  

The Rizal College of Taal implemented its Senior High School program in 2016. It offers various tracks or strands that students can choose based on their interests, skills, and career goals. These tracks include Academic and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL). The Academic track further branches into specific strands like Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM); Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS); and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) with its specialization in Information, Communication, and Technology and Home Economics.

Rizal College of Taal Senior High School Department believes in the ability of every student to achieve balanced and competitive academic success. It strives to impart in our students not only the mastery of academic content but also the development of rational habits and leadership skills, as well as a strong social and cultural proficiency with resilient faith in our God.

Goals & Objectives

  

  • To ensure academic achievement by providing a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum aligned with educational standards.


  • To support students in building confidence, character, and resilience, preparing them for challenges beyond school.


  • To prepare students to become responsible citizens and members of society by instilling values in them such as integrity, responsibility, respect, and empathy.


  • To create a safe and welcoming environment that respects diversity, fosters empathy, and celebrates individuality.


  • To prepare students for success beyond graduation by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed for college, career, and lifelong learning.


  • To build strong partnerships with families, communities, businesses, and other stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.

Strands offered

STEM - Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics

The STEM strand offers students a rigorous curriculum focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, preparing them for careers in diverse fields such as robotics, biotechnology, and computer science.

ABM - Accountancy Business and Management

The ABM strand equips students with essential skills in accounting, business management, and entrepreneurship, fostering their readiness for the dynamic world of commerce and finance. 

HUMMS - Humanities and Social Sciences

The HUMSS strand provides students with a comprehensive understanding of humanities and social sciences, equipping them with critical thinking skills and cultural awareness essential for careers in areas such as sociology, anthropology, and political science. 

TVL - Technical Vocational & Livelihood ( HE & ICT )

The TVL strand empowers students with practical skills and knowledge in technical-vocational fields, preparing them for a variety of careers such as automotive mechanics, culinary arts, and graphic design.  Student can choose between HE (Home Economics) or ICT (Information Communication Technology)
