Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is a program that provides general accounting education to students wanting to pursue a professional career in Accountancy in general and in Public Accounting in particular.
Accounting professionals provide assurance and audit services for statutory financial reporting, tax-related services, management advisory services partnering in management decision-making, devising planning and performance and control systems, and providing expertise in financial reporting and control to assist various stakeholders in making decisions. The Human Resource Management Program prepares the graduates for a career in the Human Resource Department of any organization, handling the many diverse human resource requirements of the organization, including recruitment, staffing, training, and career development.
The Financial Management Program prepares the graduates for various careers in financial management as well as in related fields, including but not limited to, corporate finance, investment management, banking, credit, trust operations, insurance, foreign currency markets, money markets, capital markets, and other financial security markets.
The curriculum provides the graduates with knowledge of financial institutions and technical skills based on established financial theories, methodologies, and various analytical tools. It also promotes an outlook based primarily on ethics, market integrity, regulations, good governance, and a competitive global perspective, necessary for effective financial decision-making.
